Telonics Volume Pedal FP-100

Post by William Kendrick »

My Telonics Volume Pedal all at once is producing distorted sound in the amplifier. I have checked all the other equipment in the line and have exchanged the Telonics with my Goodrich and Hilton pedals. Perfect. No distortion. Any ideas? Thanks. Bill

Did you try resetting the taper switch (pick a different taper) and power cycling it? Might have gotten a glitch in it.

Might try contacting Tim Rios at Telonics. He helped me out when I had some issues with my FP-100 when I first got it.

Telonics customer service is excellent. I would call them. I had a problem with the power supply on mine and they sent me a new one no charge.

Also, make sure you're using the correct power adapter, which is 24 volt. If you inadvertently plugged it in using a standard 9v stomp box adapter, the under-voltage could cause the issue you describe.
